Mode & Jewelry
Kaftan, Takshita or Kamis are all typical Moroccan dresses. They can be worn in any occasion; they are perfect for lounging around the house and they also make a great gift. You will find different styles and colors; they can be worn with or without a belt. The prices depend on the quality of the fabric, the style, the material used for the embroidery, and the work the artisan has done. It may take the artisan between 3 to 4 weeks at least to make a kaftan especially if it is all hand made.
Almost all kaftan/Takshita are washable, hand wash or dry clean is highly recommended for long lasting kaftans. Causal kaftans/caftans can be machine-washed.
We carry exceptional Moroccan Jewelry that are made from silver and nicely crafted by Berbers who live in the mountains south of Morocco. Jewelries are very traditional but capture modern style and elegance. You will find jewelries as you’ve never seen before.
Embroideries
Morocco has a unique embroidery style. Embroideries are made specially in the city of Fes, but we can find them also in Rabat, Sale and Meknes.
Artisans make beautiful hand motifs in table clothes, bed sheets and pillows.
Thuya Wood & Pottery
The city of Essaouira is famous of the work of wood. Thuya wood is unique natural resource that exists only in Atlas Mountain in Morocco. Artisans have used it to create a beautiful crafted boxes, trays, and accessories. Each piece is handcrafted and rubbed to be polished. The piece can be inlaid with ebony, lemondwood, and/or mother of pearl.
A piece of Thuya wood can compliment any décor and make it exceptional.
Pottery is from Safi, it is hand made and colorfully designed. You’ll find bowls, plates, vases…etc that can be used in your kitchen, as a décor or as a gift.
Moroccan Scent
Moroccan women have always used natural products for their beauty. They use different herbs for different purposes. Lavender, henna,.. etc, all come from the nature.
We import Lavender, Rosebuds, Kohl and Henna directly from Morocco so that you can experience a return back to the nature.
Lavender is an herb that is known as a relaxant, soother and conditioner. It is also used as potpourri. Rosebuds is also used as potpourri. Both of these can form a great gift for baby shower or bridal shower.
Henna is used to dye the hair or make beautiful design in hands or feet. It gives a very nice peach color that slowly fades away over time.
Kohl is used to line the eyes, it is naturally crashed with no additives. It last for a long time once you wear it. It comes in what is called “Mokahlah”.
